And why wasn't there no one jumping in to help the dude?
They’re outnumbered and probably unarmed. Even if they’re armed and they shoot, they’ll probably get skewered for shooting “kids”.

The city can still be fun to visit and an absolute dump
They’re not mutually exclusive. Just like places in the Caribbean.

Dude comes drunkenly riding down that road distracted on his phone like a fricking spinner bait for this pack of young scholars.

There's likely a tipping point there somewhere. Some people probably reached it, and it seems to be still moving. In other words, it's kind of hard to spin it as a good or even okay thing.

There so many things wrong with this video but the ONE thing that stands out is that neither the cop or these other people know how to fight PERIOD
Nah, there's another thing that's the main thing that stands out. Can't mention it out loud though.

I’d wager plenty of people have come to New Orleans in the past year or so and have vowed not to come back.

Pretty sure if you try and disarm a cop you can use lethal force. Soon as they tried to go for it, should have started spraying bullets.

You mean the afro pick of peace statue didn't shower peace and love over the city?

you talking about dickhead cops or the other thugs being discussed?
You are consistently one of the dumbest, most tone deaf motherfrickers on the OT (Worse than OWEO)
Plus, you’re a junkie loser who still feels the need to cast (shitty) judgement on people. I hope your next injection is your last you piece of shite

Nope, the "allegedly" in the story is because of lawyers.
All it takes is 1 of these criminals to get off, get acquitted, not get charged, and they can hire a lawyer and sue the media and the reporter for slander.
This is taught in journalism on like day 1.
I hate it too, but thank your local attorney for this phrase.
I don't buy it, it's not like the writer is saying which of the dozen of people robbed him. So, that one person getting acquitted wouldn't have a slander case. Also, the cases brought forward by Nick Sandmann & Rittenhouse show just how difficult it is to sue the media for slander

Why in the hell would you be on a bike at Bourbon Street at 2:52 in the morning
cop or not
Even if he owns a car, parking is all but non-existent for workers in the Quarter. In an open lot, theft has been known to happen, if not theft, then vandalism.
A bike? Can be hidden in a closet at work.

Too bad he didn't have his piece on him and to take them all out. That's the only way to start controlling crime. I don't care if you are black, white, etc, etc, etc. If you try robbing someone the best outcome is for those who tried to rob is to have their body laid out in the street. And why wasn't there no one jumping in to help the dude? If you see 4.. 5 people jumping one person you got to jump in. I know people don't want to get involved and it is risky, but that's another thing that needs to happen in order to make this shite more risky for people who try to rob someone. I remember one time when I was young (7.. 8 years old) I was with my sister and her boyfriend (now husband) and we were going to the store or something and in the parking lot this one dude was getting the shite beat out of him by a group of dudes. My brother in law threw his truck in park, ran out, grabbed one of the dudes and laid him out, grabbed another, laid him out and grabbed another to get him off the dude and they took off running. He helps the dude up, comes back in the truck and just went on like nothing happened. People who jump someone are usually a bunch of pussies.

None of this happened. You suck at making up stories.

and thats why I am so pissed at the Saints for this crap.
Crime is out of hand and your number one tourist attraction is doing anti police rhetoric...
New Orleans is going down the toilet and the Saints choose to put cops in a bad light... Brilliant Marketing
F the NFL. I'll go spend my money in Galveston.

This is the one time someone should release about five of the "breed of peace" on those 10:1 pussies.

He, of all people, should know not to (1) be out casually "walking" his bike through there and (2) be zoned out on his phone and not paying attention to his surroundings like he's in Disney Land or something.
Yeah, for a cop he had some horrible situational awareness.
