That is Dent Myers. Owns a shop that's been around for decades called 'Wildman's' in Kennesaw, GA. Dude is a character for sure. When I went in there as a kid he was telling my mom how he was Stonewall Jackson reincarnated.

You're talking in circles. What's your point. You said New Orleans politicians don't go to jail.

I said they are only put in jail by the Feds. No one else is going to go after them. No one.

Funny, Napoleon, the Kaiser, Oliver Cromwell, Stalin, hell even Lenin, they all seem to still have statues up.

And if in case you haven't heard Stalin has had hundreds or perhaps THOUSANDS of monuments/ statues to him taken down in the ex Soviet Nations ( and even within Russia). DeStalinization is just as real as DeNazification .

Napoleon's? known for more than just losing at Waterloo.

Far more nuance & National/ International influence by some of the above.

Not just losing a Civil War that needlessly caused suffering for Millions ( both Black & White) to maintain slavery like Confederate traitors.

I don't care who the frick puts him in jail. I said it's going to be kind of hard to run for president sitting in a jail cell.

He's correct. There are reasons.

Crime
Corruption
Education
Poverty

Not statues.

Who specifically is NOLA? The Feds put the school board, Nagin, etc away

The Feds can put him away for destruction of public property and desecration and vandalism of a monument on the national register

This motherfricker here.

That is funny.

Atlanta grew even with Stone Mountain staring the city in the face everyday. The horror!

What about the Kaiser?

His actions killed an entire generation (tens of millions) of young men across the world.

Some parts, yes. Some parts, Hell No. Hell he's still up in a lot of modern day Europe, along with oodles of Soviet monuments. Ever been to Berlin?

What about Oliver Cromwell? Famous butcher of the Irish? He's still all over Northern Ireland and in England.

What about Lenin? There's even a statue of him in Seattle? His policies caused millions to starve in Urkaine and elsewhere.

There's a lot wrong here...

Napoleon did fight against the rebels of the Haitian Revolution to maintain slavery in the important French Colony. He lost miserably & even made the Louisiana purchase to the United States to do finance his war.

He later also made a calculated move to abolish the the Slave trade in French territories. So is the capriciousness of monarchs . Some of the reason Tsar met his demise for better or worse.

seeen it to. This is really fricking sad. I feel like this is one huge troll, but it's not. This is real fricking life in New Orleans. The fiasco of last night 5 people shot and 2 killed last night while NOPD protected the monuments The statues turning up in some city junk yard. The past 24 hours has my anger level about off the charts.

Don't get me wrong, Houston has its problems but New Orleans makes Houston look like an angelic city. You don't see any of this stupid black rights bullshite on a daily basis. People protest things here, but its issues like Syria, North Korea, etc. Very rarely, in the 12 years I've been here, have I seen racism as big of an issue as it is every damn day in Louisiana. Louisiana continues to fall further and further into the shite hole that it already is stuck in. /rant

You might want to read a few history books.

1)Tsar Peter the Great abolished slaves in 1723.
2)The last Romanov Tsar (Nicholas II) was overthrown in 1918 completely unrelated to slavery.

The alternative was zero cost to the city to keep a 115+ year old statue where it was and risk insulting the .001 percent of the black population that even knows who the hell he was.
