No one said that...the "question" was.

Do you know the difference between a statement and a question?

That's their choice.
You can get every type of vaccine available for all I care.

Their health decisions shouldn't be influenced by your irrational fears.

In 3 months 25% of the state has received at least 1 vaccination shot. I would say that is a significant amount especially when you consider the percentage of the population that is 15 and younger that is not even eligible yet

People’s allergies are probably flaring up like mine are. The congestion and shortness of breath probably make them worry that they have the virus. I keep taking my temperature and it’s normal, so it’s just allergies!

Never said it should be, nor am I irrationally afraid of anything. You antivaxxers sure are snowflakes.

The percent positive since 1/17 when throwing out probable cases is 1.24%, 1.80%, 1.02%, 2.34%, and 1.85%.

Five data points to cover seven days because they decided to stop reporting on the weekends.

Bottom line: Cases are not going up.

Such unfair journalism. Yesterday's numbers were 709 cases BUT out of 21,235 tests! Positive rate: 3.3% I hate the media!

This makes my blood boil (not your post, but the information that you helped clarify about how this journalist is contributing to the mass hysteria by hiding critical data from the story).

I am fully vaccinated.
Get flu shot yearly.
Made sure parents got Rona shots.
I'm healthy, young, eat good diet, and am very physically fit.
I'm not taking experimental drug for something that has a statistically zero chance of killing me.

Just like other vaccines, I expect to see 5-10 years of data for long term issues.

That does not make someone an "antivaxxer".

And it was only 393 confirmed cases. The other 316 were "probables" whatever that means.

Louisiana's % positive for the past month on confirmed cases is 2.08%. This is incredibly low, and it's not even considering the fact that Louisiana has already admitted that some places aren't even turning in negative result data but only positive.

So in reality it's likely well under 2%. If anyone tries to tell you our cases are going up, feel free to laugh at them.

There's no uptick. Here's a 7day rolling average chart. If anything that dip is due to a delay in reporting over the weekend. If you follow the trend, it is heading in a steady downward slope

Kind of scary how many people will just hear “uptick in cases” from anywhere and just automatically believe it.

This was completely predictable when the State announced they were going to stop reporting on Saturday's. This past Saturday was the first time they didn't report, and it only took 4 or so days before they tried to take advantage of a sold called "uptick" from Monday when in reality it was reporting 3 days worth of data.

Because it’s become so romanticized it’s like trying to find Willy wonka’s golden ticket. Like the radio commercial with the guy saying “heard about the COVID vaccine?? Well, they’re here!” As if it’s freaking Santa Claus dropping off presents. I saw a woman the other day bragging about getting her 1st shot, showing off a COVID care pack/box people apparently are given following the injection. It’s so out of control ridiculous it’s almost irreparable.
