I hope you realize that you're not making some groundbreaking discovery by calling wrestling fake. And it's not fake, it's choreographed.

Putting on a good match is hard as hell. There are no second takes so if you frick up, you're hear it from the crowd or even injure the other person

So, it's like any other stage performance, but instead of professional actors you have greased up juice monkeys in tights rubbing on each other? Sign me up.

Steve Austin beat the hell out of Vince many times and never got suspended for it. I hope Vince isn't turning into a pussy in his old age.

you could compare doing a wrestling promo to an on stage performance but a match is completely different

I bet he comes back early in a Stagger Lee/Midnight Rider/Mr. America type angle.

I would go as far as to call pro wrestlers highly athletic professional actors/actresses.

They are trained to act almost as they are trained to put on choreographed matches and storylines.

I was agreeing that the injuries were real and that wrestling requires strength and coordination. Just also commenting that it doesn't interest me.

Like a lot of the posters here I watched a TON of wrestling as a kid and throughout high school. so I feel like I have some knowledge about it.

Thanks for being an a-hole for no reason though.

I don't think it has anything to do with being "macho", some just find the whole thing an overproduced, overly dramatic, bad acting, ridiculous mess. It's like a soap opera for men. But to each his own.

3 months for that seems kinda excessive, but still looks odd for Titus to grab him randomly like that. Did Titus issue a statement explaining himself anywhere yet?

I guess the guy needed surgery so they came up with this for his 90 days off

That's what I was thinking - Titus is still in good shape and Vince is what, 70? I would go yanking on an old man's arm like that regardless of physical condition.

A WWE World title is more real than a back up quarterback Super Bowl ring.

Usually the person with the WWE championship belt is making more than the backup NFL QB.

I don't think so. Titus was currently undergoing a small push. He has the look of a pro wrestler, he's charismatic, and a great ambassador for WWE outside the ring.

I think Vince didn't appreciate being grabbed like he did during Bryan's retirement and also in front of all the fans and cameras.

Still, 90 days is extremely excessive considering it's only 30 days for a drug violation.

That's fine. Some people love it because it is hilariously stupid. Some people don't. It's all good either way.

I will say I find wrestling fans and their attempts at rationalizations to be fascinating.

You find people supporting a product they love to be fascinating? It doesn't take much to surprise you.

Hence why I'm in this thread.

And looking worse than the wrestling fans...

In my experience, people who watch WWE style wrestling are some of the corniest people out there. Not saying all but that's seriously what I've noticed.

I don't see how someone can find it very interesting after the age of 12.
