Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair are less over than Marlena is absurd

Marlena might be a stretch (but she kept Goldust relevant in those days when he was basically just a weird guy that could work a little)....but WWE has buried Sasha....I mean this Bayley slow turn is like watching your Christmas tree shed needles for 6 weeks straight.

Charlotte Flair is buried on Smackdown....not much else to say there.

He has no intention of having an actual discussion.

He "thinks" Daniel frickin Bryan should be on 205 Live and thinks Sable was better for business than the crop of women we have now.

He's trolling.

The kicker is....in the hay day (Attitude Era) more people paid 50 bucks a pop to watch PPV's than watch them now on the network.

They only had a few ppvs do over a million buys. Most were around 400-500 thousand, some barely over 100,000. Under the old ppv system though, WWE had to wait months for the cable companies to pay them, plus the cable companies took a cut of the sales. Now WWE has $15 million or so a month coming straight to them without having to deal with cable companies. I think they make more a year then under the old system.

No I was proven right to show they have hit record revenue numbers. I never argued that revenue was because of women’s wrestling.

I argued that women’s wrestling is better today than ever before.

Two different arguments.

Oh don’t get me wrong the booking is horrendous but the in-ring work is great.

Charlotte v Asuka will be an all-timer and the story they are telling with Alexa and Nia is good.

Yeah, compared to the stories of the late 90s which began and ended with "look at these hooters"

This is the biggest problem that I have with wrestling today....the marks are more interested in the fake fight than the angles, stories, and build ups.

Everything that made the attitude era great is just ignored now. I mean the work today, outside of Shawn Michaels, is every bit as good, probably a good bit better, than it was back then. I'm just not here to get excited about watching sweaty dudes in tights pull punches.

The problem with the storytelling is that there is no consistency. They can run a storyline and 3 weeks later it’s like it never happened. I blame this on having so many ppvs.

That being said I agree that the in ring work is so much better. The athleticism makes up for the lack of storyline.
