War games are not until next week, all surrounding bases denied of course. My buddy used to run war games off Biloxi. (Technically not in complete command) When we were off gulf fishing they would buzz the hell out of us and yeah they used to be common.

years ago I was coming across the gulf from Mexico City headed to Miami, we had the weirdest meteor encounter, it was at 12 o'clock and headed opposite direction, I'm sure it was a gazillion miles away but it looked like it passed just a few feet over us, even left a contrail, three of us in the cockpit, no one said a word
