In all seriousness, as a brown person, I feel bad for white males. White males today get criticized for everything and anything. I don't see that whole "white-cis-male" privilege thing at all, I see the opposite honestly.

Refreshing Rabbit. As a 45 year old white male, I dont understand the privledge of working since I was 16, going to college and then working 50-60 hr work weeks since I was 23. What in the frick privledge is that. My parents never went to college and raised 3 kids who all went to Catholic schools in New Orleans. My dad worked 2 jobs and my mom worked a full time job to give us the best they could. Their is zero privledge with any of that. Its called hard fricking work and trying to contribute to society in the best way possible.

That is something to be very proud of. I have never had it that bad. My parents both came from poor parts of South India and my dad made it as a cardiologist in the US. I have never worked nearly as hard as you have just described. It makes me sick to think people will still criticize you for being white without even knowing your upbringing (which is much more difficult than mine).

A phrase all people should ignore and automatically stop listening when it's said. Those that say it deserve zero attention or platform.
If they want to talk about issues or grievances, fine. But when a conversation devolves to a statement or label like that, it's going to be a fruitless conversation.

Damn I think the Mizzou crap is way overboard and seriously out of hand, but there are a shitload of racists popping out of the woodworks now feeling free to speak their mind. You are a fricking moron if you are trying to argue it isn't harder being a black man in this country. What Mizzou is doing has very little to nothing to do with racial equality, and everything to do with faux outrage and attention whoring.

It's a catchphrase for the simpleminded sheep. It's a rallying point for people that literally have nothing going on in their lives. The formula is simple. First find an issue, trivial or not. Next assign a hashtag/ catchy slogan. For example #whiteprivilege or #blacklivesmatter. Next take said slogan to social media to insta rally a virtual mob to your cause. Finally watch the clowns in the media take the bait. Once they do, your movement is legitimized. You can then rinse and repeat for any social cause you wish. The herds of followers you've ginned up aren't going to do any independent work to verify what you put out. They will eat up any pile of shite you feed them and beg for more.

Not really. IMO you could easily argue that it is easier to be a black man in this country then a poor white man. All you have to do is act normal and half way decent and everybody will bend over backwards to help you out. There is plenty of opportunities for a black male in this country. The problem is their to busy trying to blame everyone else for their failures.

Though it's a crutch on which people lean when they've failed, it does exist. If you're white, you're twice as likely to grow up with your father than if you're black. You're also way more likely to be murdered if you're black.
