Also, why let Iran get a nuclear weapon when we can stop it? Years later, when Iran has the ability to launch nukes and hit the homeland, we’d be livid that our government did nothing to prevent it when they had the means and opportunity.
Just because we have negative feelings about past wars doesn’t mean all conflict is unnecessary and we should stay out of everything forever.
