This really doesn't surprise me. When it comes to any type of non-profit.. Where people give donations and there is no way to know how the money is being used, I assume there is misuse of funds to some degree.
But with the Catholic church, they have had to pay out a lot of money from law suits and people leaving the church (less people, less donations) so the money has to come from somewhere.
But the bible says this.
So it doesn't matter. As long as a person gives up their 10% it doesn't matter what its used for right?
