It was probably the best WrestleMania main event up until Michaels vs Hitman Iron Man Match at XII.

It's nearly sold out, and the remaining tickets are outrageously expansive.
How much room do these expansive tickets take up? I don't want to buy tickets that I can fit in my pockets.
I'm almost proud to say that I have suite tickets and they were only $167 a ticket but those tickets were also compact not expansive because they fit in my wallet.

You do realize that WrestleMania VI is one of the best WrestleMania's of all time.
Good God, and you're going to explain to me how I'm wrong?

Probably 5 when Daniel Bryan loses to him next year.

Also, if you're going to mention something that happened before Vince Jr took over in New York...it doesn't matter.
I'm well aware of what brought World Championship Wrestling to an end. However you appear to have fallen for this revisionist history that the WWE Network likes to showcase all the time.
The WWE likes to portray themselves as this house of great ideas that nobody was watching, and that WCW just fell arse-backwards into a ripped off gimmick with old guys.

Absolutely by any metric WMVI is one of the top 5-8 WrestleMania's of all time.....maybe higher.
It was Andre's last televised match...he knocked the hell out of Bobby Heenan which all the fans had wanted to see for so long.
The only low spot to me was Beefcake going over Perfect....it was a huge success in ticket sales, buy rate, merch sales, vhs sales....pretty much every financial metric.

No for 2 years there was a period of time where WCW programming was better than that of WWF/E...and consequently WCW outdrew them from Bash at the Beach '96 through early '98. It was a revolutionary takeover gimmick that hadn't been pushed that hard before....and an even bigger accomplishment was that Bischoff was able to convince Hogan that the time was right to turn heel.
But to sit here and tell me that the prime era of Flair, Sting, Muta, Steiner Brothers, etc was better in WCW than that same time in WWF....that is just damn ludicrous.

As long as we can all agree that the best two manias were X7 and XXX, then we are good.

I have floor seats, row 9 on camera side of the ring. Should be amazing.
If anyone wants 2 tickets to the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday let me know. They are great seats and I'll give them away for a half of what I paid. Work called and screwed up my plans

XXX is #1 for me....X7 is certainly top 3. That was one of the top turns in wrestling history.
I personally liked X even though it doesn't get a huge amount of love (it wasn't well attended and the buy rate was down)....simply for the hart vs hart match, the first shawn v razor ladder match, and finally getting out from under Hogan completely.

This takeover gimmick was not revolutionary, they go well back to the territory days.
It's also been well-documented by Bischoff and Hogan himself that Bischoffs attempts to convince Hogan to turn heel didn't work. Hogan star was waning, and the emergence of Hall and Nash in the WCW was cool and it was a money train Hogan wasn't going to miss.
Bischoff, Hall, and Nash have all stated that Sting was already set to be the third man anyway.
But then again if I got all my information from the WWE Network I would probably repeat the story like you just did.

Would anyone argue that X7, X8, and XIX is the best Trilogy of mania.
Basically the best 3 Manias in a row?

Rumor is that the Junk Yard Dog will once again tangle with Jack the Snake Roberts.

Agree and 25 and 30 have only been the ones that have come close to matching them imo.

According to Bischoff's book, they had Sting backstage ready to be the 3rd guy that night all the way until Hogan showed up at the arena because he wasn't convinced Hogan would go through with it.

Damn mark.
The takeover gimmick had never been pushed that hard....it's OK to be a mark but at least read and comprehend.

They've both also said the opposite....somebody is getting worked here. I don't think Hogan would have that train of thought based on his whole career....his though would be "Damn brother...Hulkamania will rid the Earth of these bad guys!". You could be right though.
Good news for WCW it wasn't Sting....if it would have been Vince would have owned WCW by late '97.

Dude, calling someone a wrestling mark is the quickest way to lose credibility in order to put over your opinion of fake fighting.
So not buying into revisionist history makes you a mark now?
