Would you turn in your own mother if she murdered someone?

Imagine you find out your mom murdered an innocent person through some crazy set of circumstances like a hit and run, would you turn her in? Would the victim being a loner or having a family sway your decision?
What if she shot up a movie theater or school with multiple victims?
No, my mom has not killed anyone that I know of

No. There are definitely friends/family I'd turn in for doing something horrific, but my mom is not one of them.
