You sir, are correct! We just got back from a trip to the Smokies and the heat was giving Louisiana a run for its money. It was in the 90’s every day we were there and the heat index was into the 100’s.

Yep. Rockies.

Smokies. Maybe it’s just me, but there’s just a certain “feel” to living in the south that I, for one, am a big fan of. And I wouldn’t even wanna try the other because I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of the differences and distinctions.

Drive though the SW, it's not what you know, it's what you see.

I’ve road tripped from NELA to Vegas. It’s certainly a sight to behold, but there’s also probably a propensity to prefer either thick forest, or more barren rock formations. I’m more of a forest guy. But how ‘bout this: why not both?

I expected sand and cactus, but it awed me more than east TN did. Did you go through AZ or NM?

The scenery I'd agree with. The politics are pretty whack though. I mean, you don't have to deal with that shite in Idaho or Utah

Boise is way more liberal than anywhere I’ve been in Colorado aside from Denver.
I greatly prefer the Rockies.

For me this isn’t even a comparison
Rockies are majestic and possess the most beautiful scenery and wildlife in the world.

Rockies. The older I get the more I want to be left alone. Seems like there'd be a place out west where I could be alone.

Actually its pretty wonderful.

It is still wonderful, but it is now infested with liberal California trash. Walking down the streets you are bombarded with woke crap propaganda. The fresh mountain air replaced with weed smoke.

Much more wonderful than Louisiana

Well that’s not saying much. Don’t worry, just as democrats have ruined every major city and beautiful area of this country, so to will be the fate of Colorado.

Smokies.

More humidity (Colorado and New Mexico dry me the F out when I have to spend time there for work), and the Smokies would be closer to specks and redfish.

I’ve been to both multiple times, if I had to pick it would be the Rockies. Bigger, colder, and way less people.

This. But only if you're ok with being snowed in for a week at a time
