I don't remember the media ever being as bad for hurricane season as they've been this year.

Kid I went to HS with lives in Pompano Beach now. He did multiple live Facebook streams that day. Caught some cool stuff on camera like his fence blowing down.
But he went to the beach for one of the videos and there were several people doing this parachute surfing. He didn't even mention it like it was normal.
I was impressed with their control of the parachutes. I imagined myself getting blown several miles down shore, or getting picked up and thrown. Basically at the mercy of the wind. But these guys were in full control, going back and forth and able to turn to stay in the same little area of water.
And when he turned the camera and pointed it down the beach you could see people every few hundred yards down the beach doing this. I was able to see about 5 different parachutes.
So many crazy people

Kite surfing is so much fun. These baws taking it to the extreme though. But you're never gonna get a better day.
