I love these questions.

I normally take the money, but I feel like 200K wouldn't be enough to compensate for this. Wouldn't this lead to issues down the road? 200K helps your life it doesn't change your life.

I have that same fear, it's odd. It just feels like an unbearable pain if you were to be intentionally struck there by anyone with anything, much less Giancaro Stanton with a bat...to each leg.

I said yes

They'd break for sure. But I'd have enough money to pay off my student loans from grad school and half my house off.

And he'd pay for medical bills for as long as necessary. Doctors could fix the shin bone right up with pins and rods.

Also, bonus, you'd be passed out after the first shin so you wouldn't have to feel the second one

God damn that'd hurt like a bitch. How long would it take for two shattered shins to heal? $200K is about 6 months salary so probably not.

LOL

Yes you would. That is absurd to say you would never walk again

You would 100% walk again and most likely walk fine. Might hurt in the winter and when you're old, but I'm 28 and healthy, I'd be up and walking fine in a year. People walk on prosthetics, but I can't walk with a rod and pins in my shin?

Not normally most likely. You're definitely getting broken legs, and who knows how badly broken.

$100 million maybe but $200,000? That's pennies.

I agree. If we're talking clean breaks, yeah sign me up. If we're talking bone dust, nah.

Dude.

You're going to be fine. You won't run marathons, but you'll walk just fine after surgery and rehab.

People have entirely metal shin bones and walk fine.

No. $5M tax free and I would do it. There is a chance I could never climb or run again. It would really have to be worth it.

I don't think it's that simple. At the very least I think that you would deal with pain for the rest of your life. That 200k isn't going to last long with a pain pill addiction.

You don't understand the force that Stanton would be applying to your shins. Death is not out of the questions frim hemmoraging or heart attack.
