Cam Newton makes millions and he offered 1500?

He lowballed him.

Should have been 10k. 1000 per hour

That is not 1st class, it is probably economy plus. A 1st class seat on a 10 hour flight is usually about 2k more than coach. That seat is about 200 more than Cam's. That is what Cam gets for going cheap.

Yeah why is Cam flying coach? $1500 plus the costs of the ticket he already bought would probably get him business. I am guessing this may have been last minute.

A 2 hour domestic flight is uncomfortable for me if it’s coach or even premium economy. Business is pretty comfortable and first class I have no problem with. I’m a big fricking guy, I played on the defensive line collegiately (technically I “practiced”, never played a game and hung it up after 1 year) and airline seats were not designed for tall guys with broad shoulders, especially now that I’m carrying around some extra weight in the midsection. Any extra room I can get on an airline I take, and I’m not giving it up.

Chances are the guy that had extra leg room had already paid at least $1000 extra for it. Cam better come with some serious bucks or he’s staying where he’s at.

I took $1500 to get bumped on a Europe flight. No brainer.

I would’ve given my seat up and paid him $1500

Would you give him the 1500 before or after you sucked his dick?

why is an NFL QB flying coach anyway?

He's trying to pull a fast one on the airline. Pay 500-750 for the economy ticket, then offer 1500 to someone in business to swap. 2000 vs 3500-5000 for the business/first class seat. It's a good way to get your arse thrown off a flight, or fired if your company's paying the freight.

First- not even a first class seat he is trying to pay for. Wow... c’mon man pay for a decent seat.

Second- no way I give up that seat for $1500 unless it is offered by the airline and I get as good or better next flight.

Third- if he wants it that bad he can up the price. We have applepay and Venmo now so don’t be a cheapass Cam.

He likely had a flight canceled and got put on another flight that didn’t have business class available. United did this to me on a flight to Frankfurt.
