Would you ever consider buying a house where a murder occurred ?

What if you bought the house and learned about it after the fact ?

I was reading about a murder a few days ago in Alabama where the 16 year old son stabbed his mother and his 2 twin 13 year old brothers to death.

AL.com

I'm guessing that will be a difficult house to sell.

No way I could live in a house where something like that happened.

Would be pretty creepy but if it’s a nice house good location and low price it’s possible

regular murder? sure, as long as they cleaned it up properly, who cares.

Famous murder where weirdos might show up to see the place it happened, nahh.

I don't know, it would just freak me out...don't believe in ghosts or anything, it would just be creepy.

Doesn't bother me. It's not like a house in a flood zone where it could happen again. As long as there aren't blood stains and everything was handled properly, hell yeah. Especially if it's at a discounted price.

Yeah, I don't see buying JonBenet Ramsay's house anytime soon.
You'd have people driving by everyday taking photos at the very least

Sure, unless there was another murder house really nearby, like on that block. Because that would make it way different.

I had a friend that bought a house for his daughter and sil a few years back, they moved down from Alaska and were going to buy the house from him, she allegedly committed suicide by putting a gun to her head, the little town they lived in had a joke for a polices force, chief of police was also the dog catcher and a fireman, investigation is still technically open but the sil was never charged, anyway, I helped him clean the house up and get it ready to sell, was a nice little house, I would have recommended it as a starter home for someone
