Unlike an Audi RS6, Mercedes E55, or BMW anything.... a maintenance visit 10 years from now won't total the damn thing.

The proportions are better on the rear wheel drive Cadillacs. Audi sticks with a VW-derived front drive chassis for their sedans and it shows in the side profile.

I was going with it would be more that that, but a loaded CT5-V is just under $70K now.

I had no idea Cadillac dropped the CTS from the lineup, the V version was a bad arse sedan. Those were going into the $90,000 range.

They redesigned the CTS and named it the CT5 for reasons.....

It's not really gone. It's just been redesigned.

Would not own a Cadillac. Or a Dodge Charger.

My John boat is 16' and would make this car look kind of small when I was towing it. My 5x10 utility trailer would probably be fine behind it though.

You need to get your eyes checked.

I agree. I own a 2011. Awesome car. A friend of mine bought an Aston Martin about he same time I got my V. His car has about 5% more performance and cost 5 times as much as my V.

I think the new CT5-V design is pretty blah. Performance is slight improvement on the CTS-V, but not enough to make me want to trade my old V in on a new one (pretty because of the styling).

Anyone looking at buying a CT5-v, I would recommend buying a 1 year old vs. new one. On the CTS-V, there was a significant drop in price for 1 year old cars vs. new.

My eyes are fine. No flare to the wheels wells makes it seem basic. Not much difference between caddy and this.

Those two cars look nothing alike to me.

I see more of a resemblance between Cadillac and Infiniti and Mazda.

The Cadillac looks much nicer and has completely different styling and drivetrain layout.

I like the more toned down styling of the new blackwings. You wouldn't know that they are insanely fast by looking at them at a glance.

I prefer the looks of the CT4V.

They should have, or hopefully will, make the CT5V Blackwing more aggressive. People who spend $90K on a car want it to look like a $90K car.

Good luck going 200 mph in one of those things. If that were the case you would see them on the track at Daytona for the 500 race.

The CTS-V can go 185+....and it's a 6 year old design. I'm sure the CT5 Blackwing can do 200mph at least.

Also, NASCAR fans wouldn't know a good vehicle if it ran over them. They drive Mustangs, Challengers, and F-250s.

Would drive, wouldn’t buy. It’s sad, as Cadillac actually had some of my favorite styling for a while, but I’m not a fan of their design anymore. They’ve tweaked their design and it comes off looking a little derpy to me.
