I drove one once and had a similar response. It was much more fun to drive than I expected and much roomier inside. I don't think I could drive one as a daily driver but I wouldn't mind having access to one every now and then.

the large mini looks okay. Little ones are too small.

They back seat is an insult to back seats everywhere, but the front seats aren't small at all. Ton of leg room.

Eta: To clarify, the one I drove is a two door.

I like to whistle in the wheat as they do.

My wife's Aunt has one in downtown Austin and it's nice for running around there. My niece has one in downtown Chicago and it's nice for that as well. Cool little cars.

But I prefer my F450 Dually Diesel Kingranch.

Really tells you something about marketing and the demographics of the USA. To the rest of the world, Subaru and MC are known for their racing teams.

Men in Mini coopers remind me of the dudes who thought it was cool to own and drive a fiero. No, it was never cool, we laughed at you, because u were one of the gheys.

Every time I watch The Italian Job I get tricked into thinking that they're cool for a few days until I snap out of it

There certainly are some neanderthals in this thread.

The Mini Cooper is a fantastic track car.

Yes I would drive it and yes I HAVE owned one.
The Mini Cooper S with a manual transmission is a blast to drive.

I would never be caught dead in an automatic regular trim mini. Those are for girls.

I bought my SO a turbocharged Chevy Sonic. It's similar and a lot of fun to drive.

They're really fun to drive. The S models are amazing little cars. I would love to have one as a toy.

My best friend has one. I make fun of him every time I have to get in it. The only redeeming thing about it is that it's manual
