Like what? I recall the second wave of skateboarding, and more obscure music like post punk, industrial and goth(though it wasn't called that yet that i recall) being played late at night on radio stations, but, what else? I assume we're talking kid stuff.

I consider 1984-1989 to have been really fun. I was young, full of testosterone, and enjoyed college from 1985-1990. Loved the music from that time and never gained weight even though I loved pizza and Burger King chicken sandwiches.

Kids need to be responsible but have fun when they are young. One day you wake up and you are 50 years old. I miss the 80’s. So many chances I did not take when it came to women.

The 1985 Bears and the 1985 St. Louis Cardinals are my two favorite NFL and MLB teams.

You haven’t been on a college campus lately, look up hambeast, women wanted to take care of themselves back then, now it’s awesome to be morbidly obese.

I did enjoy being able to get into Tipitina's, and Jimmy's in New Orleans as an underage teen to see bands like Jane's Addiction, The Pixies, Soundgarden, Love and Rockets, Jesus and Mary Chain, Lords of the New Church and New Model Army amongst others between 1986 and 1989.

The overwhelming percentage of women were not overweight. People were way more active

And chicks dug rock and roll. Rock was played in many clubs and bars, the women were kickass. Disappearing for a weekend was fairly normal behavior

And, afterparties.

High school 83-87.....4 of top 10 years of my life. I’d have to go with 86 as #1.

1985 was a good year for me. I was six. Went to Disneyworld for the first time and saw a space shuttle launch (STS-61 B). I enjoyed the shuttle launch more than Disney. Glad my dad grabbed passes for it when he did.
