My son bought a 08 4Runner Limited, loaded with the V8 a couple years ago for $7500. It had 72k miles & great condition.
It's stupid how expensive vehicles have gotten.

Easily $10k more for that now.
ETA- I've shopped for 4runners since December and shopped for them back in spring '23. My kid rolled his and now we're looking again.
Just drove 600 miles on Saturday to buy what was supposed to be a bad arse 3rd gen limited 4wd w/ 128k miles. Looked like it had 300k miles. Wasted trip.

You and the OP can gladly go pay over 20k for a car ten years old and over 100k miles. 4runner or not, its a bad decision

I currently have a 2016 4 runner with 158k miles on it. Would be curious to know what you end up selling yours for.
I always thought I could get around 15k for mine. Yours is a year older but less miles.

Im looking at a 93 right now with 80k original miles for 15k.
Simple 5 speed. Manual shift 4wd. Interior is flawless. Did have an accident on right front at some point of its career. Clean underbody.

MSRP on it was only 38k. If that's the going rate that has held it's value extremely well.

Currently driving an 08 4rujner v6, 306k miles and still going strong. Original owner and I've delayed getting a new car, but it's gonna be time soon.

I am poor, but my car is much newer and nicer than a 4runner. Have a nice day!

Has a KBB trade in value of $16,700. Private seller value of $18k. I would try to work down from $21k.
Don’t pay more than the trade in value. Promise you, the dealership didn’t offer them that much, probably several thousand less.

I feel like 4Runners (if taken care of) run for years. They uphold their value really well in resale value.
