Would you be willing to deal with this heat every summer if you knew it would protect us

from hurricanes every year? This shite is hotter than the devils arse crack but it also protects us.

We legitimately need a "Whine about the heat" board

I got it the worst. Imagine sleeping in the same room as my mixtape.

No. Hurricanes don't impact us every year.

I'll take the heat over hurricanes any day. Think of the reduced insurance costs without the risk of hurricanes.

Yet, you are whining about this thread. Nice!

Geez, this board is so soft.
Is this your 1st summer in the south? Guess what? It gets hot during the summer in the south. Move north you pussy!

Yes. Then I could make my yard into one that resembles Arizona and no longer have to worry about keeping up with the watering.

This is worse than some of the WYH threads with an OT7+.
Who in their right mind would choose rolling the dice with hurricanes that bring on the possibility of major wind damages, floods, tornadoes, and increase the risk of more and more insurance companies leaving the Gulf Coast thereby effectively sky rocketing insurance costs?
And, if I knew this would be the norm, I would just go ahead and put in the pool now; which would also knock out at least 50% of my dead grass

Are you prematurely saying we are protected from hurricanes this year? Because if so, frick you for poking fate in the eye.

Yes. It doesn't feel hotter than last year b/c of the little bit of lower humidity. What is making it bad is the lack of rain. But I'll take it over hurricanes any day.

I've been around awhile. This is the longest sustained heat wave I can remember.

I'd deal with it if it protected us from posts like this

Does it ever rain in your hypothetical? Because the no rain is worse than the heat.
