Would you be offended if a girl secretly ran a background check on you?

So I recently went on a few dates with this girl I met online and her friend ran a background check on me. I have an MIP and negligent driving on my record that happened 10 years ago. I went into the Army afterwards and LSU and never made any mistakes ever again.
Would you think this is an immediate reason to terminate things immediately for trust reasons? I never agreed on being "checked" out?
BTW, her friend is a hair stylist FWIW.

Who ran the check, you're girl or her friend? If her friend, did your girl give the go-ahead? Regardless, what did they conclude of your results? Are you out because of a 10-year-old mIP? If so, frick 'em both. Figuratively and literally.

Just my first and last name and my phone umber and address came up is what she said. Once again for two minor offenses that occurred when I was 19.
