Much different in Dallas. Regularly over 100 degrees in the summer. Regularly 70+ in the winter. It’ll get below 20 occasionally, but I probably ran my AC more than my heat last winter.

Very easy to answer this. No heater. There would be zero chance for me to live without AC.

I live in the northeast and I'd still rather have A/C over heat. I cannot fall asleep if I'm hot.

I can take the cold.
I couldn’t go no AC

This is south LA. My damn AC runs almost as often as my heater does in winter.

No way in hell would I live in Chicago without central heating.

What a stupid fricking question to ask people who have an 11 month long summer.
Posted on 7/10/18 at 2:40 pm to TechDawg2007
All you need is a space heater.

If lake Charles no heat.
If Chicago north shore, no a/c.
I lived on Chicago north shore of lake mich. No one has a/c.
Water only gets up to 60 late summer. Its always 39 degrees deep and it circulated.
You live in suburbs its 90 a lot.

I assume this is meant for people who don’t live in SoLa. I have gone a winter w/o turning on the heat.

doubtful.

It's close. I only run the heat for an hour or two a day during the winter, and not even every day, but I don't have an AC at all so I guess no AC. WA state.

Why? In New Orleans the average winter weather:
December: high 65 low 48
January: high 63 low 46
February: high 66 low 48

I don’t need heat.
I would die without AC.

Like most of the other replies, I could do without heat. I grew up at a time when A/C in a house was a luxury few in our circle could afford, so I know how hot it is in the summer months without it.
An old whole house fan really didn't do much during the day and only made the nights bearable when it got down into the mid to upper 70's.
I absolutely love winters here and it hardly ever gets cold enough for me to even don a jacket. This past winter was kind of an abnormal situation with several nights of well below freezing, but that happens so infrequently as to not be concerned about it.

I live in south Florida. I think I’ve used my heater 3 times in 7 years.

No heat.
Summer lasts 6 months in Louisiana and Winter lasts 15 minutes.
Plus, I have a big fireplace.
Easy.

No AC is a death wish in the boot, baw.

I'd much rather have no A/C. It's Colorado so it gets pretty cold.
I have central A/C but don't use it all the time in the summer. It usually cools down enough at night to make A/C unnecessary. We just open up the windows.
