if you ever really want to nerd out and see how people from different genres would fair, team deathbattle does videos of how people would fair (marvel vs dc, marvel vs capcom, dc vs mortal kombat, dragon z, etc.)
they're kinda violent for my tastes but it's interesting to see takes on it.

i thought iron man's whole deal was that shrapnel was floating around in his blood stream, so he made that device in his chest to keep it away from his heart. wouldn't magneto be able to make the shrapnel move around inside him and tear him up?

I agree. Controlling ferrous metals with one's mind is way more logical. Controlling ferrous AND non-ferrous metals with one's mind just doesn't make any fricking sense.
