Would SNL ever consider pushing the envelope and creating a character like Buckwheat today, even if the actor was black?

If Buckwheat is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Nah and The Chappelle Show wouldn't be on TV either.

Didn’t the litttle rascals come up with “Buckwheat?”

This country wasn't overrun with soy boy and snowflake pussies back then.

Probably couldn't even get away with a Stymie now-a-days.

"I come from a predominately black family, and I have yet to run into a relative named Buckwheat at a cookout, you know?"

I'm pretty sure all of these acts would be labeled racist too.

You do realize Eddie Murphy did not create the buckwheat character.

In Living Color ... add it to the list of things that couldn't survive today. Just think ... no Jim Carrey, Daymon Wayans, J-Lo, Kennan Ivory Wayans, etc, etc.

Yes, I do realize that, but SNL seemed to tip toe the line with him a little more than The Little Rascals did.
