I am getting my professionalism hour....sitting through someone trying to preach about biased thought ( i.e. racism) in the profession. Seems that there is no teaching taking place......someone simply has control of a mic and an audience and wants to make a point.

I sat through a CPE for my CPA today and it sucked. They're never any good but it's one of those thing that you just have to deal with.

I hate one hour CLEs, what is the point. I still end up doing two 6 hour ones a year, so the extra professionalism or trial hour from luncheons and the like are worthless.

I was doing one earlier and was staring out the window at a Cobra helicopter flying by....and I missed the fricking code that flashed across the screen so I had to do the whole segment again.

The ones I do online you have to watch cause you have to press a button at random times to show you are watching

I switched to the DVDs a couple years ago because I didn't know if they could track whether I pay attention to the online ones or not.
