78 in a 55 on that stretch of I10 by the mall where it drops like 3 times for no reason then jumps back to 70. Had to go to court.

People who got caught going ~40 over....how y'all feel about driving at or over .08?

I notice driving that fast is no big deal on here, but driving normal after 3 beers means you're the devil.

Only Ticket I've gotten since 1991 was a Speeding outside of town here around 5 years ago.

43 in a 25.

Had to go to Court. He told me when my last Ticket was.Said he'd fine me the minimum,$100.

It was $235 with Court Costs.

What would a 200# man register with two mixed drinks, assume 2oz of 90 proof, over a 2:hour period, with a full meal?

I think you'd be under the limit, but if something were to happen, even not your fault, you still may have a problem.

going 58 in a 55. Worse because it was stupid to ticket me for 3 over. But that's St. Gabriel for ya.

Lets see. You can let the car breathe a little bit and push up to speed if there aren't many cars around for maybe a few seconds. If you are driving impaired, that lasts usually the whole time you are driving.

I have driven plenty fast plenty of times but I do not agree with driving like an idiot while other cars are around. Tailgating, passing over double yellows, darting all over between lanes are no no's when driving in groups with me.

Never had a speeding ticket. Every single time they pull me over (5-7 times) it ends up with "looks like you have a clean record, I'll just issue you a warning this time." maybe they should keep those warnings on record .
Helps that it's never been more than 10 over or in a school zone.

Got a $400 87 in a 60 couple months back on I-95.

Edit: Judge Dropped it to $85 and 2 points. Was originally a 6 point ticket.

Was it in South Carolina? The whole stretch of interstate through there is a death trap. Highway patrol will just sit behind the trees in the median.
