They have some very convenient trees in that area to hide behind.

Pretty much Texas to Nola is a no speed area now

Golden Meadow

I've gone through Golden meadow for years traveling to and from Port Fourchon for work all hours of the night and day. I set my cruise at 55 and have never been pulled over once. Maybe they don't hang out on the main hwy but I would put Port Barre and Krotz Springs waaay above golden meadow. I've never got a ticket through those either because I knew they were there.

Baskin

This might be the worst. The town of Baskin relies on ticket money

Sicily Island will write your arse up with the quickness.

Gilbert and Wisner are legit speed traps. Gerry Dinardo got a ticket in Gilbert the day he was fired. My friend's grandmother was Gilbert mayor at the time.

Baskin has gotten better but is still bad. I'm from Winnsboro, so all these little hell holes can lick muh taint, I've gotten pulled over in all of them in my younger days.

I-49 - Washington, LA:

"Speed trap
According to a 2007 report, Washington was named among the ten worst speed traps in the state of Louisiana. Washington made 50.84 percent of its revenue, an average of roughly $370 per capita population, from fines and forfeitures in the 2005 fiscal year. A motorist passing through for the Catfish Festival could be ticketed for going two miles over the speed limit.

In 2014, State Representative Alan Seabaugh targeted Washington as the most "notorious" speed trap in the state. He obtained approval of the House Transportation Committee to allow enforcement of traffic laws only if a community had incorporated at least one-half mile of land that extends to each side of an interstate highway, excluding overpasses and ramps. Seabaugh said that he receives many complaints from his constituents in Shreveport and even out-of-state residents who have been ticketed for speeding when exceeding the 75 m.p.h. limit only by a mile per hour or two."

That Charger must have 100 different strobes on it.

The Nutland Rd overpass on I-20 Eastbound in the Mecca. Always a trooper there with the radar hanging out the window.

I-12 from Mile marker 1 all the way until the I-59 exit. I see more LSP on that stretch of road than anywhere else when heading home to Sulphur.

Krotz Springs hands down. You would think during football season that was that towns only means of income.
