Worst place you’ve had to go for work?

I’m in Albuquerque and it is pretty dog shite. Food is terrible, everything is smothered in red or green chile, the people are assholes and it’s pretty dirty…
Drove by a woman on the sidewalk facedown OD’ing and people were just walking by her like it was normal.

Town: Muskogee, Oklahoma
Place: medical paperwork warehouse. No windows, no AC, no internet, no cell service. The guy and I went with were new and the manager on the project had the nerve to scold us for expensing lunch because it was technically still in town. I had been there less than 6 months and straight up asked him what he wanted to me to do, brown bag a sandwich and sit in a 100 degree warehouse and eat it? The partner caught wind that he said something to use and he promptly apologized.
We were there 7 work days and the meals consisted of 2 trips to Canes, ghengis grill, and a salad place.
