St. George. Are you looking to open up a snowball stand there?

Presidents, states, Indian tribes are all good ones to avoid.

The underrated one is the artists....that is Mall City behind Bon Marche'. Those streets are Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh, and Rembrandt. Cracks me up that the Texas Club is right on the border of that neighborhood

Napoleon, you seem to know both N.O. and B.R. hoods pretty well.

Which one is worse? I always thought B.R. hoods were worse.

Well I just put the names on the areas, Garden District bumps the outer edge of Dead Presidents.

Good question.
In New Orleans every Hood seems to be near a decent area. Florida area of the Upper 9th is probably the most run down in NOLA and is furthest from any decent neighborhoods, yet the crime rate isn't as bad as Central City which bumps some of the nicer areas of the city (LGD, Broadmoor). Hell there was a murder in Fountainbleu today.

BR on the other hand has a larger no-man zone. Pretty much anything north of Florida is shite.

In BR I always avoided the hood.
In NOLA because of work I have to go to the hoods. The places I felt the least safe were the Crescent City gates complex in Algiers, and the upper ninth ward. But neither gives you that feeling of not belonging that you get in a BR ghetto.

I don't know, maybe a push.

Gardere violence is primarily centered around the area south of Burbank. Some streets you will see in the news often are Ned, Skysail, Jade, Jasper.

The presidents streets are easy to find. Map Buchanan Elementary and stay far away from those streets and anything north of LSU to the Bridge and bordered by Garden District.

speaking of, I hear they are finally putting some police watch over that trap house on terrace. It amazes me how that is still there. Any given time of day there are atleast 5-6 people just standing out side. When i drive by I feel like I'm watching a scene from Notorious
