issues here.
1) the dates dont match. youre using 2010 data for patterson and 2000 data for jeanerette.
2)Patterson:
vs
Jeanerette:
pattersons income stats are so much better.
im not trying to fight for patterson being some sort of great town or anything but its worlds better than jeanerette and trying to argue anything else is silly.

They’re both shot holes in 2000, 2010 and 2020. Not much has changed except they are bigger shite holes today than they were 10 or 20 years. There isn’t much difference between Patterson, Jeanerette and Centerville.

It's not just sleepy. It's a weird place with a weird cliquey culture.
A few decent restaurants are available, but most Atownians aren't interested in anything outside of Bloomin' Onions, Canes, and whatever is so addictive about Texas Roadhouse. The people who are don't stick around on weekends to support any attempts at infusing life into the town. They just drive to BR or NOLA.

Yep, except it's not a city. It's barely even a town now, especially compared to when I was a kid.
Yes, by size. But really, you need at least 10,000 to be called a city. Even those are really big towns.

Chalmette is nowhere near the worst but there’s a lot that Metairie and Slidell have that they don’t, and that’s whom we’re compared to.
Now the true shitholes in my neck of the woods are Violet and Buras. Violet isn’t up the road and it isn’t down the road. Buras just feels like every hurricane just wears them down a little more.
I like Bogalusa and Washington Parish surprisingly. That drive on LA 41 feels like a country vacation, and I don’t mind the paper mill smell. I wish their team was better so Chalmette would always have a reason to play there every other year.

Anyone mentioned leesville yet? It’s so bad. It’s like going in a time machine back 40 years. The damn movie theater is flat seating so if a big guy sits in front of you, you ain’t seeing the screen

Alexandria is great if you live west of MacArthur Drive and can afford to avoid most public schools. I grew up there and most of my family still lives in the area. Great little airport, dining options are improving, good outdoor recreation options. Low cost of living compared to some of the larger cities in the state.
My vote for worst: Winnsboro

Winnsboro or Jonesboro, the battle of the boros.
I didn't know you were from Alex baw, Robby Gs is still one of my favorite past times. The Asian place over near downtown and the new one by tractor supply are about as good as you can find anywhere in La too.
