Louisiana:
Some good suggestions both ways but the most interesting to me is:
Best: Uptown Nola
Worst: 3 blocks away from any of those places.

North Georgia where I am from and live is a gorgeous area and full of good people.

The coast of Georgia is amazing too. In between is a Godless hellhole. It pains me to say it, but I include Athens in that as well.

I haven’t locked a vehicle in 40 years outside of my house. You are a big deal on your Nextdoor group aren’t you?

Kentucky

Best: Central KY. We have the horse farms, bourbon distilleries, rolling hills and beautiful countryside.

Worst: The correct answer is Eastern KY due to poverty. A lot of blight, run down small towns, abandoned areas due to coal pulling out/dying off etc. However, it is also the most beautiful part of the state for nature and scenery. Im sure most of you have been to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. That's Eastern KY. Beautiful area, just poor. But good folks out there.

Western KY is kinda it's own thing.
