I took a class in college on genetics, dna, and what not. If identical twins have a kid with the same partner, and the resulting two kids are identical except for being opposite sex, if those kids reproduce with each other then the genetics would get crazy messed up and instead of having a normal baby it would be a generous serving of sphagetti.
