Much younger generation, and in laws?
The original family was VERY Catholic and all blood kin.
Do you know what he graduated LSU in?
With older generation Alabama that makes an interesting mix.

Pretty much. Too hard to keep up with it.

Any bottle of bourbon you see that says "Bottled in Bond" will be pretty much as good as bourbon can be. If you're paying more than about fifty bucks for a bottle of bourbon you have more money than sense.
There are some really exceptional bourbons out there, but, yes, it has gotten out of hand.

Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond the perfect bourbon… to me at least

That's a good thing. Now the prices will continue to drop and more bottles will be available.

The burbon snobs won’t like this…
Not really, price just reflects rarity for the most part. Not necessarily quality.
The ones I actually drink out of all of my bottles are all $20-35 with very few exceptions. They taste good.
Now, there are a few that are just so damned weird it's nice to have a glass occasionally, but you'll spend more time trying to figure out what the hell it tastes like than actually drinking it

Neat If you must add ice, I suggest Highbridge water (not in a plastic bottle if you can avoid it) as that is spring water sourced close to where much of KY bourbon is actually made. Folks who use tap water to make their ice, dings the taste from the start.
I bet you bottle up your farts.

It's not that bad. But not that good either.

Sounds more like they're tasting cologne that was dropped on a dirty breakfast plate rather than bourbon. Was the tasting done by subscribers to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?

Never had it. Will try it.
Not after it won this contest. It will be horded and sold for 4x its shelf price

This award doesn’t mean as much as you think it does
