Had two friends, Carrie and Doug, try this at IPS. Let me tell you, it did NOT go well. Hijinks ensued.

My wife is my assistant, she does all my scheduling and client contact stuff and all my marketing . We are with each other several hours daily. She’s freakin awesome. No problems but I guess it depends if you want to be around your wife.

My wife works PRN sometimes where I work.

Can't think of any cons.

Pros: I get to watch her sexy arse during the day when she's here.

I work with about 50 people and about 20ish of those are with married to each other or parent/kid. They seem to not have any issues. For me personally, I will never ever date someone I work with again.

Then we carpooled home together and dealt with each other as a married couple. I've never really seen an issue if both of you are committed to the different relationship at work.

Ever get a dicksuck on the way home carpooling?

I work at the same company, but the way the company is set up with different divisions, it might as well be a different company. We do go to the same events and happy hours though which is nice.

And expensed lunches are the best.

Any of y’all work with your wives? Not directly but let’s say same company different departments. Pros & cons?

yes. No real positives or negatives. We're professionals at work. Sometimes we have lunch together. Same thing displaced said.

I worked with my ex for a few years. When we ended, it was bad.

FWIW, it was when I was still working in restaurants.

I've never worked with my s/o but when I worked for medium sized paper company in Northeast PA there was a couple in the office. Most people thought they were cute and fun at first but as things dragged on some people found them annoying. All and all it was good run, and I believe they ended up moving to Austin. Crazy times in Scranton.

I heard about that. The whole office got around...except for poor Kevin.

Remember to clock out before you bone her at work. The company might not have a specific rule that will allow them to shitcan both of you for fricking at work, but they'll be able to hang you out to dry for stealing time.

I actually met my wife through our jobs. She started out in reception with our desks situated very closely, so it was easy to strike up conversation and casually flirt. She then left the company for a short period and came back in my department (sales) for a while before getting new gig as office administrator.

I have since started my own company and we do not work together anymore. I can honestly say I enjoyed working with her, however.

I worked in a warehouse when something like this happened. My fiance was cheating on me with some douche sales guy. When I went confront him, the office brown nose that worse these terrible mustard short sleeve button downs sprayed me RIGHT in the face with mace.

I hit a little bit of rock bottom after that, spent some time in jail for a DUI, etc. They ended up getting married, but the joke is on them. I started my own company, met my beautiful wife and invited those two suckers to my extravagant wedding. There I kind of decided to show off how wealthy I had become and cultured. I looked over as I played a song and sang on a piano that the ex was super jealous.
