Yes, while I want to be sympathetic to her plight with a shitty job, she’s probably one of those people whose best/only option is Walmart employment. And she gets my respect for actually having a job. But if your physical appearance is anything to go by (and it usually is), you’re a train wreck of an employee. Do better and you will get better. Maybe not at Walmart, but you have to be employable elsewhere to improve your employment situation.
Be grateful you had a job and recognize that you completely fricked up your resignation.
You’ll get likes though which is probably all that

1. I can't recall a single teen going through the hassle of getting unemployment before finding another job.
2. She will get hired immediately at any fast food or grocery store. They do NOT bother with searching a teen applicants' social media or work history.
3. I got fired from Domino's pizza in December 1995 for holding a broom between my legs like a dick and poking the manager's wife(asst Manager) in the butt when she bent over. I was delivering pizza for Pizza Hut across town by February 1996.

I understand you have to be presentable, but the workplace allows it. You would probably see more people like her if employers allowed it.
She might not have a great education and is limited to the jobs she can work. She said she has been there 5 years.. And she isn't going to have a problem finding a similar job..

Gay black men get the first callbacks. Then the freak shows. There’s always one nice looking honey mixed in there though (but they don’t tend to stay employed there long, for whatever reason).

She's 25 years old; she's far from a teen. Most of the commenters love her, but this is where we are, where we reward idiocy. It's 2021, so she'll find a job with the quickness. I hope she can find something better (Walmart does suck; I worked at Target in my teenage years and it was not great, but better than Walmart).
