It's pecking your house? There has to be some bugs in there that it's after. They don't just peck on things for the hell of it.
Wait until it's on the house pecking, blast it with a 12 gauge. You'll likely get it and the bugs in one shot.

I think I might.
Had a squirrel problem at my last house so I've got this sucker chilling in my garage and it never gets used:

I think its called "drumming" according to google machine. They mark their territory.

Tried. Now I've got a second hole in my dick.
My piss comes out like a shower head.
I'd consider this a more disturbing and pressing matter than what's happening to your house. You can get another house, but you only have the one dick.

I'm looking at this glass half-full. Now I can R.Kelly two chicks at the same time.

Interesting. I've only ever seen them pecking trees.

I had the same problem with a cardinal singing every morning BEFORE dawn right by my bedroom window. Bought some .22 rat shot and let's just say I don't have that problem anymore.

Damn.
We have dozens of cardinals around our place. Pretty birds, but they've never made any noise. My neighbor actually feeds those, but she assured me that the woodpecker doesn't eat bird seed, just bugs.

Alright guys,
You've convinced me. Thing is gettin' got. I'll post update after my hunt.
Might put on my duck blind gear and hang out in the bushes with a 6-pack

I had a song bird do that at my house as well. I put a rubber snake on the tree branch and it stopped.

Killing song birds is low life beta crap. It is now mating season, woodpeckers drum, mocking birds sing 24/7, and cardinals will attack their reflections in the windows.

put aluminum where it's hitting your house, they hate the sound.

I had two attacking my house as well this summer. Ended up in a rock fight and didn't see them again.
... till fall. I looked out the window and there were 10+ in my front yard. I prepped for war, assuming they were back for revenge, but they focused on the yard and left the house alone.
On a side note, if it keeps attacking your place, you've probably got some sort of insect problem.

Lucky you don't have the metal chimney exhaust on your roof. You'd think you're inside a jackhammer when they start pecking at it.

I have a brick chimney with a metal spark arrester/rain shield on top. There's a woodpecker around here who occasionally gets up there and hammers the shite out of it. He doesn't do it all that often so it takes a minute or so for me to figure out what's happening when he starts.
