Easter was early this year.
They usually have it a Weekend around Easter when most HBU’s have their Spring Break. Last weekend in Biloxi, there was already festival scheduled, I believe.
Next year Easter is much later on April 20th. So they will probably have it the weekend of Easter. Just wait until 2038 when Easter is April 25th.
Also, it seems like it is just a weekend thing.
It is not an entire week so students probably skipped class on Friday.

Don’t worry I would compensate every one of them for shutting it down. Not worth the hassle to stay open and have every one of my workers pissed off the whole weekend and probably wanting to quit in the process
