Women steal from target during shop with a cop event

Does this actually reflect poorly on the cops as well? The store was full of police officers and none of them actually knew what was going on; obviously they were focused on the kids at the time. But, it took Target’s mall security guard to catch and apprehend then to make it a story.

You've got to be pretty dumb to steal from Target; their aggressive approach to LP is well known in the retail world. Those stores are absolutely packed with cameras and they staff far more LP associates than any other big box chain.
Dunno about shop with a cop, but I opened a Dicks Sporting Goods one time that had $1000+ in fishing reels stolen during their Friends and Family invite-only soft open.
