I took an emo break for the summer to further isolate & wallow in depression. That was fun, but now it’s back to reality.

Hmmm...

I'm not really sure. Haven't seen golden girls in a while.

i have heard chicks talk about this all the time, the reasoning goes like this.

according to the "wise" older women giving advice who are almost always divorced:

if you like the guy and want a relationship you have to make them wait somewhere between 6-9 weeks to see if they really like you or just kinda like you but really just want to get laid and will be gone soon after getting the prize.

i hear grandmas and aunts constantly giving this advice out to girls who have a bunch of short term relationships as though its some golden rule to ensure the nest guy will be there for a long term relationship

i laugh because these same girls, even if they find a nice guy, they will go frick around on him when they get bored as soon as the relationship gets to the point they need to give up "anything" to make it work, since they think guys are the only ones who must compromise and give up anything

You should really hang out with a better class of people.

Just a cluster of family, relationship, & work hell reaching a boiling point. I don’t like feeling this way, but I’m not sure how to fix things at this point. So I’m plugging along.

These questions first occurred to me a few years ago when I began to wonder how many of my friends were actually faithful to their husbands. From a distance, they seemed happy enough, or at least content. Like me, they were doing the family thing. They had cute kids, mortgages, busy social lives, matching sets of dishes. On the surface, their husbands were reasonable, the marriages modern and equitable. If these women friends were angry unfulfilled or resentful, they didn’t show it. Then one day, one of them confided in me she’d been having two overlapping affairs over the course of five years. Almost before I’d finished processing this, another friend told me she was 100 percent faithful to her husband, except when she was out of town for work each month. Not long after, another told me that while she’d never had sex with another man, she’d had so many emotional affairs and inappropriate email correspondences over the years that she’d had to buy a separate hard drive to store them all.

no, he's nailed it dead to rights

when it comes to dating there is the world women think they should subscribe to because it's what society tells them to then there is actually what is.
