It happens in the military community more than you think
I guarantee you had I not been in the military culture I would have had a better and easier time in selecting a partner.

I will try and keep this answer short. Women are capable of great compassion. In order to trigger it, they have to love you, be on your team, or want something from you.
This one you are discussing fits none of the criteria. She is getting dick, shrimp, and grits from somebody else. She has moved on mentally.
As soon as you are not providing her with a place to stay,(or whatever it is she is still getting from you) she will be gone like a hurricane fart.

Maybe she was offering genuine advice... it didn’t seem to be hateful. She went through a divorce and admitted that she got lots of therapy so maybe she was just trying to help?
