In 28 years of marriage, my wife (no pics) still can't load a dishwasher properly despite my best effort to teach her otherwise. Loading a dishwasher properly isn't rocket science, I just don't understand why a simple chore turns into a complicated matter when a woman is involved.

My wife is a wizard with loading the dishwasher.

I do a horrible job loading it on purpose so she'll do it.

My wife has recently been impressed with me “helping around the house” since I have basically seized the dishwashing duties completely.

“Not dishwasher safe” she puts it in. Tupperware on the bottom getting filled up with water load after load. Not running it when she has arranged it so poorly that nothing else could fit. I have given her the blueprint, she ignores it.

I blame it on her not playing a game of Tetris in her life.

When my dad or I would load the dishwasher my mom would complain about how we did it wrong and come behind us an rearrange the shite

That's interesting, I have always loaded knives pointy side up, just like all flatware. However, the only knives that should be in the dishwasher are table knives and butter knives so they aren't exactly dangerous.

Your wife loads my dishwasher wrong too, I'd slap her on the arse but she likes that.
