PLANO, TX (KTVT/CNN) - A mother of four said the sound of her children playing in their backyard has her neighbors upset enough to file a lawsuit.

The residents next to Kelly Counts said her kids are upsetting their tranquil quality of life and "creating noise issues as well as visibility issues for them and their pets."

sounds like the neighbors are the real counts

What are the days of the week and times the kids are being loud?

How many times have they been asked to keep it down?

I hope they win the suit and establish a precedent for shitty neighbors.

We used to skate, skateboard, and ride our bikes in front of our friend's house and this really obese woman would complain that we were giving her heart problems because of the loud noises.

She lived right next to the railroad tracks too.

Modern society at its finest... Home schooling , explicit music, lawsuit without discussing the issue and a countersuit

I saw this on the news this morning, the neighbors home is 5 ft from the fence the girls play behind so the neighbors (black) play loud rude ghetto rap while the girls are playing.

Stay classy

This was on the news here. The reporting seems pretty one sided to me. I'm going to assume it's a case of both sets of neighbors being assholes. It is Plano after all.

And not every sound that comes out of your special snowflakes mouth is beautifil, musical, or a joy to everyone's ears. Kids shreik, yell, scream etc with abandon nowadays. It is possible for kids to play without sounding like a crime is being committed. I know kids have a right to play in their own backyard, but if they're home 24/7 b/c of homeschooling, maybe give the neighbors a break and tell them to tone it down.
No one would have an issue if someone was complaining about a barking dog. Kids can be louder than that.

You're absolutely right.

This newly developed, never before seen, unprecedented behavior must be quelled before it grows into an epidemic.

I work in Plano, and I don't feel at all that is what the makeup of the city is. But i'm new in town so I could be wrong.

Btw,PlanoPrivateer Jim Ellis rules! Thanks for that.

Yes, but it is quite pervasive. Just not as many overdoses on that cheapshit black tar from Mexico
