Obviously, for her, it is worth fighting for.

And so I would say, she is a dumbass. She literally is going nowhere in life in terms of corporate success.

new dress code that bans " [visible bra] straps, hats, sandals, cleavage, back out, lace, and even...cultural head wraps."

Are you sure that the "cultural head wraps" caused this? Imo, for bras, cleavage, lace, etc to be mentioned there is a reason why.

Except she wasn't breaking any rules
sounds like she was dressing like an unprofessional slob and since everyone else in the office used common sense and didnt abuse the rule, hard perimeters were not established until she crossed line and fricked the rest of the office.

the irony of all this being she was called out for dressing like a slob, so shes spending 10 times the energy dressing like cartoon characters trying to humiliate her boss. if she would have just used a fraction of the energy to look appropriate none of this would be an issue

I've only ever heard of one employer that bans ponytails. It was a bank...I forget which one. My friend in college worked there. Capitol one maybe?

My hair is pulled back most days, unless I have to go to a meeting out of the office. We can wear jeans everyday. I love the casual atmosphere at my work. I get all prettied up when it matters. Otherwise, jeans, nice shirt, and ponytail.

This chick isn't telling the whole story. When she gets fired for insubordination or some bullshite, she is going to wonder why.

Okay. Let's be real.

I'm a college educated professional that has a position (that I often underrate, but others don't feel the same as me) in a major corporation.

Why were bra straps and back and cleavage mentioned If it were not a problem? Give me proof and I'm more than willing to admit I'm wrong.

And her "professional attire" looks like shite.

She's not telling the whole story. It's blatantly obvious to anyone who has spent any amount of time in corporate America.

Maybe because it's general and won't seem as intentionally against the one woman

She is an attention whore.

And this is coming from a woman that works in a male dominated field.

You are forgetting where you are. It's The OT. Never question authority figures. Because…well, they are authority figures and authority is always correct.
