Kek. Them saying multiple vehicles makes me think it was more than two because they would have just said two. No way in hell they’re tracking down three or more vehicles from this.

7:30 On a Friday night in a College area? Definitely a strong possibility
THat isn't a college area. The people that walk across the street there in the day time do so with little regard for traffic and night too.

Burbank and Bluebonnet is SUPER busy, I’m hoping someone caught some plates of the fleeing cars.
high density of temporary tags in that area.

Uninsured assholes with warrants of course.

or a "squatted" truck and they didn't even know what happened.

no.

They were likely racing because 1) multiple cars hit her and fled, and 2) racing occurs through that stretch constantly

I hardly ever am down there any more, but I take that route when leaving home football games. The amount of people black-out drunk staggering around on the road in the pitch dark just scares the shite out of me. I am always so relieved when I get to starring, so I can start making my way to the interstate.

This is Burbank and Bluebonnet.

It’s more likely to be someone walking from the apartments across the street to the Walmart for groceries.

the incident happened on Burbank Drive at the Bluebonnet Boulevard intersection

Then they have it on video. There are 4 cameras on the traffic light posts, and whatever amount of security cams from all of those businesses.

A couple of years ago I was at an intersection taking a left, and witnessed two cars gun it through an intersection just as the light turned red. One car even weaved around a car in front of them that was slowing to stop at the light.

The traffic on the other side of the intersection was at a near standstill, so both cars immediately crashed into multiple cars.

Within 20 seconds, four of the damaged cars hauled arse. Not only the two responsible, but two others that had been hit. They were doing u-turns, jumping the curb, backing up into the intersection, anything they could to get the hell out of there.

It took a moment to process why the victims of two cars would flee, then it dawned on me they either had warrants, guns, or no license or insurance, and probably all of the above.

I'll bet you a lunch one of the vehicles was a "squatted" truck or SUV, whether it was racing or not is not part of bet.

Lots of people with no conscience out there. It's quite disturbing.

I think this happened closer to the Racetrack & Chabills. There’s always people walking in that particular area from the bus stop, gas station, etc. It’s pretty well lit in this area so I have no idea how nobody saw a person walking.
