This reminds me of when I was younger, in middle or HS.. One of my good friends at the time had two step sisters who would go stay with them during the summer. One of them was our age. Evidently she got her period while there and was embarrassed so she decided to try to hide it.
She put her used tampons in a plastic bag in her drawer..
My friend was looking for something one day and if I remember, I think when they came down for the summer, he had to give up his bedroom and sleep in another part of the house. One day he was looking for something and went in their room to look around for it and found them.
His mom use to punish him for every little thing and when he found them he made a big deal about it and made his step sister cry so he got punished. He ends up telling all of us about it. She ended up moving in with her dad (my friend's house) and finishing school down here so when she started school, everyone knew about the period thing and she got it pretty bad. I actually felt bad for her..
I know.. Cool story.. tl;dr.. Whatever..

I think it is disgusting.
And to reuse them and then insert them over and over and let them sit in your vagina for hours on end...that's just asking for some nasty pelvic infection imo.
You would basically have to boil them between every usage to prevent infection.
