Woman arrested in connection with homicide of Danish tourist( Nawlins)

The New Orleans Police Department has arrested a woman in connection with a homicide investigation into the death of a Danish tourist.
According to the NOPD, Brandy Myles was arrested Saturday in connection with the homicide of Poul Hansen in the 4200 block of America Street. Family members posted on social media announcing his death.
Hansen was found lying in the street Sunday morning in the 4200 block of America Street.
He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Hansen was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
As investigation into the incident progressed, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives developed Myles as a suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest on a charge of second-degree murder.
Myles, who is currently in custody in Jefferson Parish on unrelated charges, has been re-booked in connection with the NOPD investigation.

Look it sucks and is horrible that this guy survives Afghanistan and Iraq only to buy it in NOLA. But, staying in a hotel on Chef Menteur Highway is an EXTREMELY risky proposition.....I mean , the area is a shithole near one of the highest crime zones in the entire NOLA area

The guy was from Denmark. It's not fair to blame him for not being familiar with NOLA crime.
