OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - A West Monroe woman was arrested after a fatal crash on Highway 557 near Highway 34 in Ouachita Parish, according to state police.
The crash happened on the night of Jan. 12, 2020.
According to arrest records, state police say 36-year-old Amanda Fletcher crossed the center line into the southbound lane crashing into another vehicle. The other driver was killed in the crash.
Troopers say Fletcher admitted to drinking one and a half glasses of wine before driving that night and was on prescription Adderall at the time of the crash.
Police say she performed poorly on a field sobriety test after the crash. Police also say she was subsequently tested using a breath sample. They say the Intoxilyzer locked at .141g% blood alcohol level before showing a warning that another substance was interfering with the reading.

People who drive drunk and kill others should be given the death penalty like a murderer.

Airbag fricked her up.

Attorney could argue concussion..and that's about all.

Not hard to understand after a headon collision and getting lit up with an airbag. Looks like she went a couple rounds with Tyson.

So an inadmissible test it seems.

She'd likely had more than 1.5 glasses, even with the other substance messing with the results.
Also, I don't know that Adderall would mess with breathalyzer results?

Yeah. Something tells me these charges won't stick. From her mugshot, the crash clearly did a number to her head and face, which an attorney could argue accounts for her failed field sobriety test. It's likely she suffered a concussion.

Was she the hood ornament?

Nope. And for this very reason. She should be treated as a murderer as other poster said.
