Pits aren't tall dogs, and wolves are most certainly taller than pit bulls (barely 2ft at the shoulders, if that, vs. nearly 3ft at the shoulders).
Granted, the video is shitty, but I'd venture to guess that it may be young wolf and an American bulldog rather than a pit bull terrier.
I guess it's also possible the wolf was attempting to hunt it, but wolves (and other predators) are pretty indiscriminate about killing smaller predators they find on their territory.

The reason the Pitt bull didn’t continue the attack is because a wolf is not a small child.
