My Jaybirds are done.
I'm thinking having the buds wired together allows them to hang around your neck while not in use. Two separate buds means taking them out of your ears and holding them in your hand while you hold a conversation?
Recommendations? TIA

I have the AirPods. The decider for me was they rapidly charge in the case and the case easily fits in my pocket.
I had jaybirds too but the damn wire always got caught on my collar and drove me crazy.

AirPods
No wire, charge really fast, small charging case, you can track them from your phone, and they kick on automatically when you place them in your ear and off when you remove, no buttons needed. Expensive, but the quality is worth it.

The new AirPods come with a wireless charging case too. Just drop them on your wireless charger and you are good to go.

AirPods are probably the best all around. They look stupid and the audio quality is merely decent, but to get better sound quality you'll pay at least a little more and have to sacrifice some utility.

I see the 2 down votes didn't offer an alternative.
AirPods are a solid choice for all the reasons given.

Airpods ftw. But my other option are the Powerbeats3. Those things sound amazing. They aren't full wireless since they have the cord between them, but I've noticed it never snags or twists for me. They charge pretty quick and the battery lasts all day for me. I like them a lot.

Airpods look like you have a tampon hanging out of your ear.

I wouldn't care if they were shaped like dildos. Still the best all around headphones.

Airpods are gonna be the most popular answer. I wouldn't rate them as highly as the jaybirds, but they're damn good.
If you're a poor, these for $22 are maybe the best bang for your buck. Sound quality for music is close to airpods, calls are a little low for me but my hearing sucks lol. They're also waterproof. I use them when I mow and they're plenty loud enough for that.

I've got a pair of MPOW Cheetahs that have been great. I agree that its probably the best bang for the buck.
